Starting the Summer off Right: Alone!

No, not totally alone – I was actually with friends tonight. And let me tell you – I had a blast! A friend of mine had tickets to a ball game; more than a handful of us went. Since leaving my alcoholic husband years ago, I’ve had a problem drinking beer, but this ball field serves wine. So your first glimpse of 1 Year of Single is wine-wielding.

Unfortunately I couldn’t help but think about how – if I was dating someone – I would have sent him photos and texted him throughout the night. But not tonight. Sure there’s someone on my mind, but I’m sticking to my #2 Lesson Learned and not sending him squat.
